In February 2019 we opened our cafe, arts & community hub on Lancaster Road in Preston town centre. We’re all about local, ethical and quality food.

*Saturday 9.30am – 3.30pm
*CLOSED Sunday & Monday
Here at the Larder Food Academy we provide a range of courses to groups within our Preston Community.
We are proud to work with the Preston Syrian Refugee Project and Edith Rigby House providing Food Hygiene training to help support their training and accredited skills to help towards gaining employment.
At this time, many of our courses can be delivered both face-to-face and online – please contact us for more details.
Here at The Larder we are bringing our Kids In the Kitchen programme in to the homes of families so they can enjoy cooking make healthy & nutritious meals from scratch and eating together.
We provide recipes, videos and ingredients to families across Preston, to encourage all the family to enjoy cooking and sharing a meal together using delicious local produce.
Our Kids In The Kitchen programme has been running for a number of years face to face, but its been online for the past 12 months.
As part of our new campaign to Lean Into Local and encourage Preston to support local business and producers we have a massive Preston Cook Along on Thursday 12th November 2020
With more than 250 households taking part, its definitely the weather for a delicious home cooked Lancashire Hot pot
Cooking for Our Community
Cooked nutritious meals delivered to people who may be struggling at this time.
Working closely with many organisations across the area including Age concern, Community Gateway & Preston Community Transport.
Food donations from many of the local businesses including Fresh and Fruity, Liveseys, Sharrocks, Morrisons, UCLan and more.
