Here at the LARDER Food Academy we provide a range of courses to groups within our Preston Community.
We are proud to work with the Preston Syrian Refugee Project and Edith Rigby House providing Food Hygiene training to help support their training and accredited skills to help towards gaining employment.

Open for takeaways Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11am – 2.30pm at present – serving delicious takeaways, including drinks, homemade cake and light bites.

Working with the Open Food Network to supply local, fresh produce to our community, as well as artisan homemade items, and fabulous local producers.

Food brings families and friends together to enjoy a meal and share stories. Food brings memories, feelings and reminds us of snapshots in time.
Preston Roots is all about celebrating the wonderful diverse cultures we have here in Preston, its an opportunity to share recipes from across the globe – enjoy food from other cultures, and learn the wonderful stories behind family recipes.
Here at The Larder we are bringing our Kids In the Kitchen programme in to the homes of families so they can enjoy cooking make healthy & nutritious meals from scratch and eating together.
This October half term 2020 we delivered 50 ingredients kits to families to bake and decorate a delicious homemade cake.
Over the Summer we provided 100 families with recipes, ingredients kits and online videos to cook healthy & nutritious meals together.
At Easter this year The Larder provided ingredients kits, recipes & videos to 40 local families
Cooked nutritious meals delivered to people who may be struggling at this time.
Working closely with many organisations across the area including Age concern, Community Gateway & Preston Community Transport.
Food donations from many of the local businesses including Fresh and Fruity, Liveseys, Sharrocks, Morrisons, UCLan and more.
Two of our volunteers, Leah and Jacqui, are excited to be part of the Food Foundation Veg Advocates programme.
