Preston Roots

Food brings families and friends together to enjoy a meal and share stories. Food brings memories, feelings and reminds us of snapshots in time.

Preston Roots is all about celebrating the wonderful diverse cultures we have here in Preston, its an opportunity to share recipes from across the globe – enjoy food from other cultures, and learn the wonderful stories behind family recipes.

Celebrating the cultural diversity of Preston

Normally at this time we would be planning our annual Feast for Peace, celebrating the cultural diversity of Preston – but this year we are bringing our Feast for Peace online with recipes and food stories from across the globe including Pakistan, West Indies, Peru and Brazil, told by the people of Preston
